So recently I've found myself getting into Yoga. Why? Well I'll tell you why.
It turns out Yoga has many more benefits than a person would think, one of my favourites is that you are able to connect with your body , I've found that I've become more confident with my body and I've grown to like it a lot more since I started doing yoga. It's almost an exercise where I can separate myself from my problems,worries, and wind down, it's surprisingly relaxing (tiring too though). Yoga can also help with your posture which is something I do want to work at while strengthing my core and i'd also like to work on my flexibility. It's a really calming therapeutic activity and in all seriousness, I wonder why I haven't really done yoga before.
Yoga requires a lot of stretching, bending, flexibility, and holding postition for a very long time. This is why in my opinion getting special clothes to do yoga in is incredibly important. You want to have clothes that your body feels comfortable in so that you concentrate on the exercises you are doing rather than being distracted with how uncomfortable you are. I never used to wear exercise clothes when I worked out, and now that I've got some, I know I'm not going back. The clothes I use are called Jala clothing, and I really do love them.
Jala clothing is a brand that focuses on yoga clothing, and what's great is that they manufacture ethically, which is good because I feel a huge part of yoga is connecting to the earth- so the fact Jala holds these values is incredibly important to me. What I also love about their clothes is that they have vibrant patterns, different designs that stand out and are sooo comfortable. I've even started just wearing them day to day when I'm not exercising because I love them so much. They have such a huge range of choices, and I think I'll be getting myself some more soon!
