I decided to go to Amsterdam

So just under 2 weeks ago I went to Amsterdam with my friends from College. Guys, I seriously cannot recommend it more as a short trip style holiday. It's absolutely beautiful, it's canals and architecture makes taking photos in Amsterdam an absolute delight. Now transport, I love the fact that everybody travels by bicycle, purely because this must be great for the fitness side of the residents lives, but also because bikes look so damn cool, and sound so much nicer than cars.

To be honest my favourite part of Amsterdam is the fact that you don't have to trek to get experience the different parts of the city, you can walk just about everywhere (if you know where you are going, otherwise you end up walking around in circles for hours like me and my friends, haha!). I mean we managed to walk around the whole place and explore the busy parts of Amsterdam such as the Red Light District or The Anne Frank House to the surprisingly peaceful side such as Vondel Park. 

I could probably talk for hours about this wonderful city, I mean lets face it this is my second time visiting which means I evidently love it! But I have to say that we used AirBnB for the first time ever in choosing accommodation and it was amazing! The apartment was great, cheap and in an amazing location- I don't think I will ever look at hotels first when going on holiday now, AirBnB will be the first on the list (well most of the time, you still can't beat an exotic hotel in Thailand).
