Recently I went on a trip to LA and if I haven't emphasised this enough through my tweets, it was amazing! One of the things that we did was trek as close as we could to the Hollywood sign.
We started our long trek late afternoon and were welcomed with warning signs of rattle snakes and mountain lions (fun!) after 30 minutes I was already feeling dead. My arms ached my breathing was more dense minute by minute. (yep I realised I may be slightly unfit). You carry on the trek and soon you forget how tired you are as you're indulged by welcoming and stunning views!
Its incredible when you find the sign and then you stop, stare and take pictures- it's a pretty amazing experience. We rationed energy drink as we didn't bring any water-which I do recommend- and then as the sun started setting we made our way back down singing to the theme tune of Game Of Thrones (Stupidly I thought it was Indiana Jones---Judge me).
By this time it was incredibly dark on our way down and I was slightly paranoid with the rustling in the bushes, convinced it was mountain lions coming for their dinner. Another adventure was being locked in on the entrance and we had to climb over the fence, it was still fun though! In total it took 3 hours there and back and every single minute was worth it! A must when you go to LA
Louis and Kate both vlogged the journey so if you want to see it in video check it out : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX7bEbhGm4w
